Empowering Change: The New Beginning Mission Journey
Founded in 2009, Carol Jamison opened the doors to her house as a sanctuary for young mothers fleeing from domestic violence. Recognizing the desperate need for a safe space, she created an environment where women could find solace, support, and a fresh start. With compassion and determination, Carol transformed her home into a refuge equipped with essential resources and a sense of community.

Tameka Graham, the daughter of Ms. Jamison, has stepped into the role of acting CEO of the New Beginning Mission Transitional Housing Program. With a fresh perspective and a deep commitment to the mission, Tameka aims to enhance the support services provided to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Under her leadership, the program is poised to foster a nurturing environment that empowers residents to rebuild their lives and achieve self-sufficiency. Tameka's vision and dedication signal a promising new chapter for the New Beginning Mission, as she carries forward her mother’s legacy of compassion and community service.
